Within this brief summary we present our wide-ranging services provided by
our spa and Aqua Park, our events and programs organized throughout the
year, along with our accommodation and dining facilities.
Jonathermal Spa and Aqua Park with a history of thirty-five years, is located in
Kiskunmajs, Bács-Kiskun County. Jonathermal Motel Campsite and Kiskunmajs
Holiday Village are located next to the Spa, which together for more than three
decades have been enthusiastic hosts for those looking to spend their holidays
here.
Our Spa is a three-generation Spa, which operates constantly throughout the
year, where all members of the family can find their recreation in the
landscaped, sporting facilities included environment, in the indoor and outdoor
Spa, with slides, wave and adventure pools. You can make use of our
accommodation facilities throughout the year and taste the specialties of
nearby restaurants as well.
About our Bath services:
Our Bath is open all-year round. Except for the outdoor pool, most of our
thermal and spa pools are located in the indoor hall. Next to the huge side
windows of the hall, there are rows of loungers, sun loungers, allowing
sunbathing and relaxation.
Our adventure pool is open for Fridays’ and Saturdays’ night bathing in all
seasons. Regardless of age it provides an unforgettable experience with all of
its elements: ‘hill slides’, bubbly beds, water cave, geyser, hot spring pools,
water massagers, whitewater corridor, bubbly pools, rock fountain, water
mushroom…
Our slide park has two separate pool areas. For the little ones a small slide and
six experience elements are available with a 30-40cm water depth, while in the
other area there are four giant slides with different lengths and tilts.
Our wave pool with a water depth ranging from 10cm to 220 cm, which
produces waves up to 80cm has a sea-like atmosphere with four experience
elements.
Our lido with its natural water and deepening from 0-3 meters is usually open
from the 1st of June to the end of August. It is a popular sand castle building site.
On the plage thatched roof canopies provide cool shadow, and for the younger
ones inflatable floating aqua park elements present entertainment.
Our children’s pool of 20-60 cm water depth has numerous experience
elements: water hedgehog, tilting bucket, small sized slides to serve the littlest
ones as well.
For the little ones furthermore, there are two playgrounds along with an indoor
play center that operates during summer which offers various games and skills
development opportunities.
Guests can enjoy therapeutic, refreshing and aroma massages, underwater
hydro massages, underwater therapeutic group exercise sessions, the sauna
island in the Spa hall, steam rooms and dipping pools.
In addition to the above mentioned, there are a number of wellness and sports
facilities available: various massages, saunas, tanning beds, as well as football
pitches, volleyball courts, giant chess, playgrounds, swing skittle etc.
These further broaden the range of services we provide to make the hours and
days the guests spend with us more exciting.
It is important to mention that throughout the year all pools, slide services,
saunas, salt caves, and Jacuzzis of the Spa can be used with a single Spa ticket.
On regular daytime opening hours from 9am to 7pm, and on Fridays’ and
Saturdays’ night baths from 8pm- 12pm.
Accommodation:
Quests arriving at Kiskunmajsa can find quality accommodations at the Motel
or campsite located in the immediate proximity of the Spa. Our 1-2-3 bed Motel
rooms, all-comfort wooden houses, apartments, holiday-village cottages -which
is located next to the Spa- and Mustang Ranch Pension are all ideal for families.
Guests arriving with tents and trailers are more than welcome to visit the
approximately 5-hectare campsite in a shaded, parkland setting.
Trips, events:
We await our quests with numerous events such as the Easter Campsitemeeting
located in the campsite, Lavender Harvest and the Harvest Festival as
well.
During the stay, our guests can take trips with their own or with rental bicycles.
From a touristic point of view, the new bike route is quite impressive, as it
travels through Jászszentlászló, Móricgát, and enters Bugac as well. It connects
the Kuskunmajsa Spa and Bugacpusztaháza. Several attractions can be viewed
during the trips.
Quests of the Spa and Motel are welcome to try the typical cuisine or
specialties of the area with high-quality service, at favorable rates at the
Termál Bisztró and Restaurant, and at the Lópofa Csárda as well.
Accessibility:
Our Spa is easily accessible by car or bus from the M5 motorway. From Szeged,
from the direction of Kistelek- Budapest, by taking the Kiskunfélegyháza exit.
Guests arriving by train can get to us by taking the regular services of MÁV with
a Kiskunfélegyháza interchange.
